Editorial Guidelines: What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Zoosk, we want our articles to give real people, real actionable dating and relationship advice. That means the majority of our articles have at least one takeaway that readers can apply to their love life and relationships right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That doesn\u2019t mean we can\u2019t have fun though! Sometimes a good laugh, a take on the latest online trend, or a heartwarming story can offer our readers the perspective or comic relief their love life needs too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a fresh perspective on an old topic? Great, pitch it. Have a hilarious story you just have to share somewhere? We want to hear it too! Did you read about an amazing social science study you think could be applied to dating? Awesome! What we\u2019re really looking for are creativity, uniqueness, and great writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Posts should be as long as they need to be in order to be high-quality and comprehensive. The majority of our articles are around 750 words but they can be longer or shorter depending on your topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Topics should be relevant to dating, relationships, love (though not necessarily traditional love), and online dating. We encourage thinking outside the box but still want the content to be relevant and helpful to our readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Whenever possible, back up any advice or claims with behavioral research or information from a trusted source. Credit and link to any sources, references, or research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. If you have a relationship or connection with a company, brand, product, or service, you should always tell us and include a disclosure of that tie in your post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Pass On<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Typically, we don\u2019t publish personal narratives. But, if you have a unique perspective or a new story to tell, we\u2019re interested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don’t post articles that have been published elsewhere or guest posts from writers who place links from a company or brand. Also, we\u2019re not at all interested in working with link brokers or entities who want to pay for backlinks back to their site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be read and be seen! Zoosk\u2019s articles are seen by our readers and are also shared throughout the internet via our social channels: Instagram<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>, Twitter<\/a>, TikTok<\/a>, and YouTube<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
