A great smile? A steady job? An interesting conversationalist? What is it that women in their 20s really want from a man? And is it really that different from what older women want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After looking into what women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s want from a man<\/a>, the online dating site Zoosk<\/a> was interested in what women in their 20s were looking for too. To help get deep into the psyche of these young female minds, they found the top 36 words and phrases women in their 20s used most often while describing the type of guy they’d like to be with in their online dating profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what did they find? By and large, it wasn’t that different from what older women want from their men but there were a few key takeaways…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women in their 20s definitely want a guy who can make them laugh.<\/strong>
\nSo much so that laugh<\/em> was the #1 word mentioned while describing who their perfect match would be. Other popular traits also included funny, sense of humor,<\/em> make me laugh,<\/em> and love to laugh. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun is a top priority.<\/strong>
\nThough women of all age groups mention fun<\/em> as a top characteristic (4th for women in their 30s and 40s, and 3rd for women who are 50+), for women in their fun<\/em> was the #2 thing they bring up when describing what they want in a guy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like all women, they want someone honest.<\/strong>
\nFor women in their 30s,  40s, and 50s honest<\/em> was the #1 word mentioned while describing the person they’re looking for. As it turns out, women in their 20s are looking for an honest man too. It was the 4th most mentioned word. Also popular was loyal, respectful, genuine,<\/em> and real.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women in their 20s think about height more.<\/strong>
\nUnlike other age-groups, women in their 20s were the only group to mention that a tall<\/em> guy was important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re looking for a family-minded guy.<\/strong>
\nBelieve it or not, women in their 20s are interested in a man who’s interested in a family. A guy who values family<\/em> was the 7th most popular word, while kids<\/em> was mentioned 12th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
