It\u2019s the data being driven, the feedback looping, APIs calling, machines learning. It\u2019s streaming, cloud-based, mobile-first, block-chained, self-driving, artificial, augmented, automated, and auditory. It\u2019s the algo-rhythm. And, thanks to advancements in technology, it\u2019s what dating is all about.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or is it?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if there was another kind of rhythm? But smooth jazz can\u2019t be controlled. It\u2019s too powerful. However, early versions of Smooth Jazz Mode weren\u2019t as effective as the team would have hoped.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThere was one point where we were having a design review and something just wasn\u2019t right. That\u2019s when someone asked if we could just jazz it up a bit,\u201d explained Director of User Experience Charmagne Kringstein. \u201cMost designers shy away when you ask them to jazz it up, but at Zoosk our designers fully embrace jazzing it up. In this case, we went all in\u2014we didn\u2019t just jazz it up. We jazzed it all the way up.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Future of Dating is Smoooth Not Swipes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result of the team\u2019s hard work jazzing it up, the Smooth Jazz Mode of Zoosk has more smooth jazz than any other dating site. At a time when most dating apps are fighting over swipes, Zoosk has pivoted to focus on a smoother experience that focuses on what the user really wants\u2014love, romance, and a little something to set the mood.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s not about slowing things down, it\u2019s about smoothing things out,\u201d said Technical Lead and really smooth guy Robin Keller. \u201cThat\u2019s what Smooth Jazz Mode is really all about.
