When it comes to making the transition from casually dating someone to becoming more serious, what are the things people look for? Is it someone you can laugh with? Someone that shares the same values as you? Or someone who you can be comfortable with? To get better insight into what makes a woman ‘girlfriend material’, we asked men on the <\/span>popular dating app Zoosk<\/span><\/a>, what they’re looking for in a serious partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 3,000 men answered the anonymous survey and really opened up about what they\u2019re looking for in a woman and in a relationship. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the most revealing answers:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI really admire honesty and trust. Not only do I want a girlfriend that I can love, but someone who is there for me and I can turn to as a friend.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want a woman who shares with me\u2026 her story, her feelings, her views, her hopes, her fears. Even what she didn’t like about her past relationship(s)!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA woman with intelligence. A romantic. And a little flirtatious.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love when a woman does something special just for me, or makes me a good cup of coffee.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like when women are just themselves, showing the good, the bad, and the ugly. Sometimes you just <\/span>find a match<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHumility, sweetness, kindness, wisdom, patience, unique, talented, brave, charismatic, fun, funny, honest, grateful, courteous, empathetic, sympathetic, ogical, faithful, loyal, spiritual<\/a>, beautiful, encouraging. NERDY!!! Movie lover! Comic fan! A Sci-fi\/action lover, a basketball\/football fan. All of it!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a turn on when a woman is confident in herself. She is perfect just the way she is. If I like her, it’s because she likes herself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want a beautiful, sexy, and smart woman who is unafraid to speak her mind.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019d love a woman who could laugh at some of my dark jokes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like when a woman likes to hold hands, and pulls you in close. When she lets you know she\u2019s into you and isn\u2019t afraid to show it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHumbleness, strength of character, affectionate, cares for others, shows understanding\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to <\/span>meet someone who can enjoy the little things<\/span>\u2026 like a woman who can appreciate a guy who loves to cook and clean as well as work his butt off.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like brave, strong, outgoing women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love a woman who cooks for me, who makes an effort to spend quality time with me, buys me practical gifts, and asks me to play guitar for her.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking for <\/span>someone who loves the outdoors<\/span>, sports, being active, hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers. Just being a plain out sweet old-fashioned country girl who loves the mud and loves her family as much as she loves herself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking for an overall general kindness. And it doesn\u2019t hurt if she can laugh at my ridiculousness.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like women who are confident, secure, mature, assertive, kind, adventurous, and even a bit silly. Although, don’t get caught up in the adjectives.
