Online daters love dorks.
\n<\/b>It\u2019s true kids, saying you\u2019re a <\/span>dork<\/span><\/i> in your dating profile can get you up to 74% more incoming messages than the average. Sadly, nerds and geeks don\u2019t do as well. Saying you\u2019re a <\/span>nerd<\/span><\/i> in your profile only gets you 7% more messages while being a <\/span>geek<\/span><\/i> actually gets you 7% fewer messages.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t mean game over, but most daters aren\u2019t into video games.<\/b>
\n<\/b>You might want to wait before mentioning things like <\/span>gamer, video games,<\/span><\/i> or <\/span>gaming <\/span><\/i>in your dating profile.  Mentioning your love of <\/span>video games<\/span><\/i> can get you up to 60% fewer messages. And it doesn\u2019t go over well in messaging either. Messages about <\/span>video games<\/span><\/i> get 53% fewer responses than the average. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not all superheros are created equally. <\/b>
\n<\/span>Online daters like to chat about superheros, but mentioning a superhero in your dating message may or may not help you get a reply. And when it comes to DC vs. Marvel, both the <\/span>Justice League<\/span><\/i> and the <\/span>Avengers<\/span><\/i> will get you fewer replies. (Sorry guys.)
