Pet Names: Taylor Swift’s new romance with Calvin Harris was on full display at last weekend’s Billboard Music Awards. The couple are getting so close that Taylor even has a pet name for her new beau. “[Taylor] actually refers to Calvin by his real name, Adam,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “And also calls him ‘Addy’ from time to time.” Pretty adorable, right? Considering how tight the two have become quickly, we can’t wait for the love songs that Taylor will pen inspired by Calvin.
New Love: Chris Pine has a new romance blooming with reality TV star Vail Bloom. The Star Trek hunk was spotted with the Vanderpump Rules star in L.A. sharing a kiss on the lips while dining al fresco. Though it seems pretty obvious there’s something between the attractive twosome, Pine’s rep had no comment. In 2013, Pine opened up to Cosmopolitan Magazine about how his mother had taught him about women. “My mom always told me to take my elbows off the table, so that if I ever had dinner with a queen, I would know how to eat properly,” he said. “But she also taught me basic things about being a gentleman, like opening car doors. Especially in Los Angeles, I think people lose those small gestures that harken back to a different time but are still mutually appreciated by men and women.”
Eating For Two: Leighton Meester is pregnant! The former Gossip Girl star surprised many with her baby bump while she was out and about with her hubby Adam Brody in L.A. Considering the two wed in secret last year, it’s not totally shocking that the private couple would keep their bundle of joy under wraps. Meester spoke of motherhood last year to Nylon magazine: “Most people I know are starting to get married. It’ll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I’ve got dogs.” Congrats to the happy couple!
Back Together?: Good news for those who love Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield: the pair was recently seen together along the California coast and looked pretty happy together! Earlier this year, the couple, who met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man, announced they were on a break. It seems the break was short-lived as the two stopped in Malibu Farm this week and “seemed to be having a great time as they held hands inside the restaurant.” The twosome hasn’t confirmed or denied their renewed relationship, but we’re pulling for them anyway.
She Said Yes: For the first time, George Clooney is spilling details on his proposal to wife Amal Clooney. In a new interview with CBS News, the Tomorrowland star joked that his new bride kept him waiting for nearly a half an hour after he popped the question. “I knew fairly quickly that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Amal (but) we had never talked about it, so there wasn’t like a ‘Hey, maybe we should get married,’” he said. “Literally, I dropped it on her. And she just kept saying, ‘Oh my god’ and ‘wow’ – completely unexpected. We just sat there and finally I said, ‘Listen, I’m 52 and I’ve been on my knee now for about 28 minutes, so I gotta get an answer out of this or I’m going to throw a hip out. I might not be able to stand back up.” Of course we know the answer. The two wed last fall in a beautiful wedding in Venice, Italy.
