Reunion: It’s a holiday miracle. There’s going to be a Boy Meets World reunion as Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and Amy and Alan Matthews (Betsy Randle and William Russ) make an appearance in the Christmas episode of Girl Meets World. While we’re not sure how Disney will pull this off, we’re excited to get our nostalgia on.
Song and Dance: Pitch Perfect 2 finally released its long anticipated trailer this week. The sequel to the 2012 box office hit “Pitch Perfect” follows the lives of the Bellas as they enter an international singing competition. With a trailer that is screaming for audience participation (is it worse to talk during a movie or sing through it?), this is clearly a summer hit to see with your musically-inclined friends.
Cover Girl: Shailene Woodley is the cover of GQ Magazine’s “Men of the Year” issue as the publications “Crush of the Year”. The 23-year-old looks great in her cover shoot as she wears an Alexander Wang dress and Christian Louboutin heels. While her interview gives insight into why she’s highly sought after in Hollywood, things take an interesting turn when she discusses her virginity. “How many times have you lost your virginity?” the interviewer asks. She responds with a resounding five times. Could she be confusing her on-screen love scenes in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Fault, Divergent, White Bird in a Blizzard, and The Spectacular Now for real life? We hope so.
Splitsville: Ricki Lake’s husband, Christian Evans, claims that he was tricked into signing a prenup before their marriage. If a judge invalidates the prenup, Christian Evans will be entitled to half of Ricki’s earnings during their marriage. Although he stands to collect some money, he won’t be able to touch the Ricki’s fortune from the her days as host of the Ricki Lake Show.
